Systems Engineering
This is fundamental in achieving outcomes that meet functional requirements. People are not capable of managing the development of complex systems. This is where systems engineering comes into play. It is used to break down complex requirements into manageable components that can be processed by individuals. Note that this can be applied to much broader fields than just engineering.
Our personnel are practitioners of systems engineering, employing the principles in order to assist customers realise their requirements and introduce new capabilities
Risk Management
The Australian Standard AS/NZS 4360:1999 is the basis of our risk management services. The Australian Standard forms a solid baseline for risk management, from which to tailor risk management practices for an organisation's needs. The implementation of risk management practices can be seen as a burden on organisations, if not managed correctly. Implementation of these practices needs to be done in cognisance of the culture of the organisation. Further, people need to realise that risk is not only negative. Far too many organisations focus on negative risk as opposed to the positive. Risk that can realise savings for example may be worth it when considering the likelihood and consequence.
